I entered the profile for Edwin Bent coming to it via a marriage to an Atkin.and then I came to an abrupt halt.
Edwin J Bent almost certainly married a Lizzie Bent in 1913 but 2 years after the 1911 census. A search in the Birmingham area gives a possible 10+ children with a Bent mother and father inside the mothers child bearing years. The years 1912 to 1937 saw a whole load of changes to the registration districts. They didn't have to move residence to be registered in anyone of the 3 locations Aston, Kings Norton and Birmingham. The next marriage of a Bent to a Bent that seems likely in the Birmingham area in in 1946. But there are 2 other in Rugby in 1919 and Salford in 1948. Almost certainly Edwin, Irene and Clifford are their children. On naming pattern Alfred is a likely bet. I think It's going to take a finding an elderly relative or someone with a far a better knowledge of Brum records to sort out the rest.
I have added these three links to UKBMDs invaluable explanations of Birmingham registration districts which explains why Aston disappeared and Kings Norton and Birmingham joined in the fray ;-)
