Per Album of Genealogy and Biography, Cook County, 4th ed. (Calumet Press, 1896), p. 505 (the reference is at https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/K8X2-KQZ), the wife of the Peter Schaefer who died 12 June 1894 (in his 90th year) was Helena (Lena) Bleser, who died 1891 at age 79 (thus born about 1812). Per this source, their oldest son was Maternus Schaefer, born 26 August 1833 in what then was Prussia.

Here at familysearch.org is the birth record for Maternus Schaefer, born 26 August 1833 to Peter and Helena Schaefer in Mayen, in what was then the Rhine Province of Prussia. Per this record, Peter Schaefer married Helena Blaeser at St Clement church in Mayen on 5 February 1833  (note that Maternus was born less than 7 months later).

According to this profile at familysearch.org, Helena was born 9 March 1813 in Kürrenberg, which is about 2 miles northwest of downtown Mayen; this was the same place Peter had been born in 1805. Unfortunately, the parish records for Kürrenberg do not seem to have been indexed at familysearch.org or ancestry.com, so I cannot find actual documentation for this.

In a private message to me, you also asked about the parents of Maria Elisabeth Gollgott (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Gollgott-1). The only record for her that has been found so far is an entry in the Familienbuch 1821 for the parish of Winnenden in Württemberg stating that the wife of Johann Michael Traugott was a Maria Elisabeth, born 16 February 1767 as the daughter of Jan Gollgott and his wife Anna Maria (https://www.ancestry.com/sharing/21237025?h=5fa627&utm_campaign=bandido-webparts&utm_source=post-share-modal&utm_medium=copy-url).

The actual parish registers for Winnenden have not been filmed or indexed by familysearch.org or ancestry.com, as far as I can tell, but they are on archion.de (a German pay-site for Protestant churchbooks). I checked the records there, and there is no baptismal or marriage record for a Maria Elisabeth Gollgott in Winnenden. So I have no idea where she might be from. For me this is a dead end, though others more energetic than me might want to go fishing some more in the records of Winnenden and surrounding parishes.

Actually, what we are dealing with here is a very bad transcription by ancestry.com.

The 1821 source does not actually refer to Johann Michael Traugott and Maria Elisabeth Gollgoth - instead, it is for Johann Michael Bomweths [for those who have paid access to archion.de, there is a much better image at http://www.archion.de/p/06584a907f/] who, on 1 Apr 1788, married Maria Elisabeth Hilt, born 6 [not 16] February 1767 as the daughter of Jonathan Hilt and his wife Anna Maria nee Hase (or Häse).

So the Margaret born 1797 who is listed as a daughter of this family was a Margaret Bomweth and is extremely unlikely to have been the Margaret Triggett who married William Hinshaw in North Carolina about 1821.

Well, I definatly have some editing to do, I think of Jan as a woman's name,my error. I did see that Ancestry document a couple of years ago but it was difficult to read.  Well this is my mtdna 6x ggmother so we do want it correct. Thank-you so much for your help!!!
Thank-you will make corrections asap.
