Are there many records left from Czechoslovakia from WWII? My grandfather lived there until the early 1940s.

Franziska's birth record: https://ebadatelna.soapraha.cz/d/6597/96

Born in Svojetín No. 78 on 4 March 1902, baptized on 7 March.

Her father: Josef Fischer (born 4 April 1868), from Svojetín No. 78, son of Josef Fischer, and his wife Katharina née Habenichts.

Her mother: Maria, née Kameník (born 28 January 1868), from Herrndorf No. 133 (= Kněževes), daughter of Adalbert Kameník and his wife Veronika née Bušek.

Franziska's parents married on 21 November 1893.

Note: Franziska married Friedrich Fischer in Saaz (Žatec) on 9 December 1930.

The marriage record is here: http://vademecum.soalitomerice.cz/vademecum/permalink?xid=8d0e01f6cf78fd58:-6ca67971:13f99d54109:-7e89&scan=d9a0de46d0a848ae8b47a1ae4e9f6701

and there is more information about Friedrich: born on 9 December 1904 in Platz (= Místo), registered in Plassdorf (= Blahuňov), both in the district of Komotau (= Chomutov), father: Karl Fischer, mother: Franziska Maria née Mann, (illegitimate) daughter of Maria Anna, herself a daughter of Josef Mann from Sonnenberg 62 (= Výsluní).

Unfortunately, I could not find the birth record of Friedrich or the marriage record of his parents.

My grandfather's parents were Franziska and Friedrich Fischer. Friedrich was born in 1904. Franziska's maiden name is also Fischer and she was born in 1902 in Svojetin, Central Bohemia, Czech Republic. Friedrich got separated from the rest of the family in Czechoslovakia during the war. Franziska died in Pforzheim, Germany.
