Can someone help me confirm Ella Lisman / Ellis E Lisman the same?

I'm researching an Ella Lisman.  She is the daughter of William Perry Lisman and Eliza Jane Hart.  She appears on the 1880 census in Indiana being 14 years old (born about 1866). I came across on Find a Grave a memorial.  Ellis E. Lisman (1865-1881) - Find A Grave Memorial.  The parents are buried in the same cemetery. I cannot get any other records to come up at the moment on this person and I could use some help.

I would be a bit suspicious, in my (limited) knowledge Ellis would be a male, in addition the middle initial does not match. I donʻt think it is beyond possibility that there was a girl child called Ella and a boy child called Ellis and maybe a year or less apart in age.  I will try to research this in the morning.
I am suspicious and though the same thing - but there are names that can be (have been ) used for both.  Just thought possible Ella as shortened.
I found Ella. She had several different names listed in documents (Amanda, Mandy, Luella, Ella). Thank you everyone for your help!!

There appear to have been a few families of that name in Indiana around that time.  Finding the actual image might help. Bear in mind Ellis is usually male.

There is a record of an ELLA LISMAN, married to JOHN W. HART - they had a son Claude, born 1891 in Carlisle Indiana

I saw that connection - but there is no way to see a connection?  I don't want to connect her to anyone incorrectly.
I made this connection another way - and still hooked with John Wesley Hart.  I was hesitant because Hart was her mother's maiden name.
