I'm searching for Margaret K. Schaeffer, buried Mountain View Cemetery, Walla Walla, WA.  I saw the memorial once, but failed to record the memorial #.  Now I cannot locate it!

Here's one possibility. The last name is spelled differently and the birth year is slightly different by a couple of years, but it's pretty close.

Sometimes they are merged, but the manager can delete a memorial whenever they like.

For what it's worth, I had once linked to several Find A Grave memorials which mysteriously disappeared shortly after Ancestry bought the site.  Apparently a contributor who was disgruntled about that transaction had decided to remove his work from the site.  I wrote to Find A Grave and inquired (don't recall the exact process), and a helpful sysop quickly restored the memorials the member had deleted.  So apparently they don't disappear altogether, at least not immediately.  I don't know if just a name and a cemetery is enough data, but you could give it a try.

Here is her death certificate.

"Washington Death Certificates, 1907-1960," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N32B-XM3 : 10 March 2018), Maggie K. Schaeffer, 30 Aug 1911; citing Walla Walla, Walla Walla, Washington, reference 183, Bureau of Vital Statistics, Olympia; FHL microfilm 1,991,922.

It says she died in Walla Walla, but she was buried in Iowa.  I don't find her on FindAGrave there, either.

I wonder if she was mentioned on a family gravestone in Walla Walla, even if she was buried in Iowa.  My paternal great-grand isn't buried where the cenotaph has his name, nor is my maternal Grandma.

I guess it's possible, if David's memory isn't faulty about there having been a memorial, that the manager -- or someone else -- saw the discrepancy and the memorial was removed as a result?
Herbert - Scott Fulkerson has the Find A Grave spelling: Margaret-K-Shafer  (Find A Grave memorial #74156403).  I have added the link and also variations on the spelling (Shafer / Shaffer) to the profile of Schaeffer (292).
