Looking for people surnamed Hirner

Hi I just joined and am on the hunt for Hirner Family members. My branch of the family left Germany in the late 1800s. The oldest ancestor I know of is named Simon Hirner of Wurtemburg Germany

There are two groups of Hirners int the USA. A midwestern groups and a New York Group. I have just learned about the New Yorkers and am Curious to find out if they are decendants of Simon Hirner.

Hi William, I don't know if this is helpful at all but my great great grandfather is Frederick Adolphus Hurner born in Thun, Switzerland in 1850. He immigrated to the U.S and ended up in Missouri. His wife's name was Barbara (Huggler) Hurner and his daughter's name was Marie Elizabeth (Hurner) Perkins. Good luck with your search!
