My sister and I have been searching for years for Andrew J. Ream.  There are lots of them.  He never left Pennsylvania and his wife was Barbara somebody.  He died in 1873 and she lived until 1904.  We have her obituary.  She is listed in numerous city directories of Reading as the widow.  He is also listed in 1870.  He is on the 1870 census as well and states mother father born in Pennsylvania.  His father is not Peter and not William either.  He had children, Lucey (bef 1850), Clara (1850), John H.(1852), George W. (1854), and Susannah (1856).  Lucey married John Fair and was widowed quite young, then disappears from records.  Clara married Edward Williams and I have their records since they are my gggrandparents, the rest are elusive and I wonder where they went.

We would like to prove relation to the Eberhard Ream line.

The Andrew Ream I am looking for was most likely born in Reamstown and his birthday is 17 October 1811 as figured out from his death certificate which my sister is finally in possession of.  He lived most of his life in Reading, PA, so I am looking for a connection to some of the other Reams who lived in Reading.  His son, George, was a tinsmith, so I am supposing that possibly an uncle or someone like that apprenticed him.
