The biography states that this man did not have a daughter Mary who married Daniel Tucker. Can she be removed or disconnected from this profile as daughter?

Mary Lloyd and Daniel Tucker both have Virginia associations, so I have added Virginia as a tag.

Thank you

Hi Mary,

Since John was born in England, you should consult with the England project on this. You could add England and pre-1700 tags to your post to get the attention of project members. Or go to the project list under the Find drop down menu and contact the England project leaders.

Hope that helps!

It looks like the parents here belong to the other John Lloyd and should be detached as well.

But the main problem is that this profile is insufficiently sourced. Research should be done to identify parents and children of the right John Lloyd, and to identify the problematic Mary or determine if she was wrongly attached to the husband given for her.  She could be the right Mary but with the wrong spouse, which is why research should be done before detaching people.

I see that the Daniel Tucker figure was an immigrant, which is the point at which spurious attachments are usually made.

Daniel Tucker's profile, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tucker-720, suggests he had different wives, and did not marry a Mary Lloyd. Mary Lloyd's profile says she emigrated to Virginia in 1623 or 1624, and I doubt any daughter of John Lloyd emigrated there. Mary's profile has no good sourcing and Daniel's could do with substantial attention. Daniel Tucker is a prominent person with a Wikipedia entry, so there may well be some sources which establish who he married.

There was a John Lloyd who came to Virginia as an apprentice in 1623.  He died before 1653 when administration of his estate was granted to his daughter Mary, but the family seems to have died out at that point.  That Mary wouldn't have even been born when Daniel Tucker was in Virginia.
