Hello! I'm a new member and was looking to expand my research on the THEIS last name, with California/Georgia connections. No one is sure where our family is directly from or when we immigrated to the United States. Also connected to the Wilson and Hall families from California.

There are quite a number of Theis documents in California at Ancestry (some will be at FamilySearch) as well.

This Joseph, b. abt 1909, seems to be the son of another Joseph, born in Illinois in 1881, and his wife Pearl (née Duncan (or Cox, from first husband)).

It looks from your family tree that your last known Theis ancestor was Donald Theis.
