I'm looking into my ancestors  on my mother's side her mother was called Ethal may Gardner (Jones) her grandmother was Ethal maud downes (Jones) her great grandmother was Sophia Langridge if anyone has anymore info I would be grateful

Hi Lynda, welcome.  There are profiles in the WikiTree data base under those, or pretty similar, names in England (if you allow for the spelling Ethel vs. Ethal, or switching first and middle names).  Have you looked at those to see if there may be a match?

In order for anyone to help you I think you'll need to provide at least approximate dates and locations, and any other pertinent info you have.  Good luck!

Welcome Lynda.  I suggest you scratch it down on paper with approximate names, dates and birth locations.  Access a genealogical database and search using those parameters.  Scratch that down too in your notes and then search again to look for cross references to confirm relationships; include the other surnames.  It helps to start with your parents and go from there - links to others will appear in the records.
