Separating the many Enoch Pearsons [closed]

Quakers Project has project protected this Enoch Pearson after some substantive changes adding confusion were made to the profile. The changes have been reversed and it has been suggested that they be brought to G2G for more extended discussion. There is extensive wrong information published and online regarding the Pearson family, its many branches, and the various men named Enoch (at one later point in South Carolina there are six or eight men of the same name at the same time who are differentiated in records with nicknames).

If you are interested in helping with further work on the various men often conflated, please Comment or Answer this post and we can devise a plan. It may be that once sorted, all of the various profiles will need to be protected.

Enoch Pearson-901 and Enoch Pearson-357 have now been differentiated and errors (mine!) in children corrected as well as marriage information updated.
