I proposed a merge of Coykendall-15 and Kuikendal-4, after removing the unmerged match for this profile pair.
My comment on the need for merge shows up on Kuikendal-4, but the proposed merge is nowhere to be found. The change histories show that I removed the match and simultaneously added myself as manager of Coykendall-15 (I definitely don't remember adding myself as manager of that unsourced profile!), then simultaneously proposed the merge and removed the match.
Another bit of weirdness that I think must be related. I created profile Dutcher-747 to replace a profile that was mistakenly merged away. When I created the profile I accepted the merged profile Dutcher-422 as a rejected match. When I click on the "compare" link on Dutcher-747 for the rejected match, the message I see (on this link) is:

PS - Dutcher-552 is the ID of the profile that was merged away. It now redirects to Dutcher-422.
PPS - The rejected match does not appear on Dutcher-422.
PPPS - I added a new Rejected Match for the two profiles of Roelof Dutcher, but the rejected match that didn't take is still on display on Dutcher-747 as:
