Adding low level Categories to Royal Navy Trawlers

One of my distant cousins Alfred Hunter Ballard DSC & Bar served on several Royal Navy Trawlers in WW2 he was an Officer on HMT Gaul twice Mentioned in Dispatches for actions during the Norwegian Campaign: Commanding Officer Anti Submarine Warfare Trawler HMT Le Tiger (pennant FY 243) 1940: Commanding Officer Anti Submarine Warfare Trawler HMT Daneman  (pennant FY 123) 1940 - 1941. He also commanded Tank Landing Ships & was a Beachmaster. He received his DSC for D-Day landings Normandy awarded 14 November 1944 & the Bar to the DSC for Operation Infatuate awarded 19 December 1944.

How does one add the lower level categories for the specific trawlers & also the Military Operations?

Every single "operation" is sort of overkill, I think, and won't group very many profiles, which is the point of categories in WikiTree. I believe their units are more important categories to add

The trawlers could be added. Ships are usually added with hull number, but if that's not known (I can't find any here), then the naming would be [[Category:HMT Gaul, Royal Navy, World War II]] (UPDATE:I created the category for you)

You would explain his positions aboard the different boats/ships in the biography. His profile could also have the WWII sticker applied. In the units paramater (units=) you could list the trawlers, and in the unit parameter (unit=) you could list one of the trawlers (example: unit=HMT Gaul). Branch parameter (branch=) would be branch=Royal Navy.
