Is there a place on G2G to post a photo to see if any of our members recognize it?

From time to time I am given photos where the surname is known but not the given name.  Or the surname is known and the given name is one of three or four possibilities.  Ideally there would be a place on G2G where these photos could be posted with whatever information is available, hoping some branch of the family might recognize the photo.

What say you?

Yes! When you prepare to post a message the box that opens displays an "Image" link (near the top, just below the word "Size"). If you click on that link it will allow you to post the image directly to your message.

Thank you for helping me.  Do you mean when you prepare to post a question?  I'm on G2G and the only box that opens is the one I am typing this comment into.  I don't see any Image link  or the word Size anywhere.  I'm pretty sure I'm way off base somewhere.  Where did I go wrong??

Judy,

Yes! That box, the one into which you type your question or reply.

At the top of that box you should see two rows of letters and icons. In the top row, just to the right of center, you should see the word "Size" followed by a drop-down box. The link to post an image to your message is a square icon that appears in the second row, just about centered below the word "Size" and the box that follows it. If you hover your mouse over the icon, the word "Image" should appear. Clicking on that icon will open another box, with space for you to insert the URL and other data about the image you want to include in your message.

I hope this explanation will properly answer your question. It's the best I can do without looking over your shoulder. Ha!
Patrick, your instructions were perfect! I can't thank you enough for having the patience to go into a more detailed "how-to".  Of course any time you want to look over my shoulder you will definitely be welcome!
