Complicated gedcom cleanup - advice on how to proceed?

Question

I have come across a gedcom that I have been working on cleaning up, Gomezfj-20120327.ged  - there are several hundred profiles in need of cleanup, and the profile owner does not appear to be active.  Is there a way to categorize these without going into each individual profile?  Currently I am just searching for the text within the profile through search.

Additionally, every profile is listed inaccurately based on the naming conventions listed here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Spanish_Naming_conventions
Each profile is listed with two last names instead of one last name with the other variants in the other last name.  Advice on how to clean this up?

I don't know about categorizing...

Assuming you are using WikiTree+ to search for gedfile=Gomezfj-20120327.ged

I ran this through BioCheck. The GEDCOM has 1727 profiles. Of those 1496 need attention -- 219 are marked unsourced and 1277 are possibly unsourced.

As you noted, we cannot address this via the GEDI challenge

In BioCheck, for How to Find Profiles select WikiTree+ search results. Then for the search text use the same as you would for WikiTree+

• gedfile=Gomezfj-20120327.ged

Then increase the numbers for Max Search Profiles, Max to Check and Max to Report. For this gedcom, 2000 works good.

I prefer the Profiles for Review report. (Its the one we use for the GEDI challenge).

Latinos often use a combo of paternal & maternal surnames, but unfortunately I don't know the correct ordering sequence.
