that missing 1920 census  I cannot find  I came accros her existence by accident looking through newspaper columns.

could be her mother.She must remarriedFrederick P. McElhaney.Shown 1940 Census.

Emmett was married to Caroline

 and she married Frederick. April 1917

I have only found the newpaper article that Naomi visited with Jennie her grandmother who is Emmets mother.  Then I have an article on Emmets profile where he asks his mother to send pictures of his baby.

As Naomi is Carolines daughter and was born during the time of her marriage to Emmet it makes sense that she is his daughter. 

in 1930 she is listed on the census as an Addis and as a stepdaughter. 1940 as a McElhaney
