What is this strange format?

What is this strange thing I'm looking at?  Maybe others have seen this kind of profile before but it caught me by surprise.  What do I do with it?  Is it okay to adopt it?  Looks like a trap to me.  : )

UPDATE:  the plot thickens.  The name I entered in the ID/URL box "does not exist."  And yet it does!

Odd thing is that my keyword on google was "Thomas Dunlap Kanawha" and this popped up.

It is an orphaned profile, so free to adopt.

Interestingly, the spouse has a profile manager, and the children have a different manager.

It is open, so you could work on it without adopting it if you so choose, but it may be better to adopt first. When you are done, you could orphan it again.

If by "format" you mean there were no headers, and just an import notice - those are usually hangovers from very old gedcom imports.  In this case, the profile was created by a specific gedcom in August 2010.

I have added the required headers and references tag.

IF you do choose to adopt it, please retain the Acknowledgements section (as such is recommended for those older imports).

Well at least there is something to work with! I've seen worse profiles.

I have had to put headers on over at least two dozen of the DeCoursey GEDCOM over the years of adding sources.  At one time I asked if editbot could find the vacant ones and add them so it didn't bog down time on the thons but it never happened that I am aware of.

Thank you for your support. I'm still finding empty DeCoursey
as I add sources.  Discouraging but now I expect them to need additions.
