I've been looking at some Sir's such as Richard Wood. He and 3 of his siblings died 22nd May 1607 in Bosworth, Lecistershire but I can't find any record of a skirmish or battle that might account for this. Anyone got any ideas?

You might edit your header to say Bosworth, if that's the place you mean.

Hi Elayine
Do you have any other details?  Siblings names?  Parents? Are the deaths based on a reliable source?

The more detail you can give will assist us in finding an answer to your question.

One possibility is the Midland Revolt of 1607. This was a protest with riots against enclosure.

The Midland Revolt is not very likely, no one died until the denouement at Newton in June. There was (bloodless) insurrection at enclosures at Cotesbach and Welham in Leicestershire, but nothing significant at Market Bosworth.
