Hello Jeanette,
Paul's original answer is correct, the part of that answer which must be emphasized is 'At the top of the left-hand column of the comparison' - there is only 1 reject button.
I assume that the original poster either had the same problem as yourself or just couldn't find the button, sometimes if the name and id are short the reject button is alongside the 'match to' button.
Since Hannah had family, i assume that you started off with a child or spouse and then moved down the list to Hannah - then there is no match button to click as you say. Instead you have to click on a Compare button - which is alongside a suggested note.
The reason you didn't have the problem when you only had Hannah in the GEDCOM is that the GEDCOMpare process can not assign any existing profiles as her relatives or other profiles in the GEDCOM. It would have created 'Add an Unrelated Person' profile for her, that is why once you had created that profile you had to add her spouse and son afterwards.
There is also another possibility - you uploaded the GEDCOM and before going through the manual process of checking the GEDCOMpare report, you changed the family relationships of any of the family members contained in that report. If you do that you have to click on the 'Refresh Suggested Matches' before looking at the report.
