I need a better set of eyes

I can barely read this record - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSC1-99GM-7?cc=3015626

I know that the person born is Albertine Wilhelmine Marquering, her father's name is Frederich, and her mother's is Sophia Klein-something, but I can't make out the day/month she was born (I think it's August) and I can't make out the mother's full last name.

Can anyone do better are reading this? These 75-year-old eyes aren't as good as they used to be.

If you can read what's written for the father, that would be a bonus.

I copied image and made it lighter but it didn;t really make it any easier to make out.

Thanks, Steven. Your eyes are better than mine.

My 68 year old eyes aren't much better than yours, but it appears to me that the page on the left is for August-September and the page on the right is for September-October. (But I could be completely wrong)

I'm not sure which specific parts of the pages you are trying to decipher. Perhaps if you could clarify, it might help.

Hey Paul, where does the name Marquering come from? Are you sure? since it seems to me different. I would read:

#74. [1805] geb. den 19. Aug. mittags 12 Uhr.; get. den 25. Aug.; Albertine Willhelmine Mengering; Eltern: Friedrich Mengering, Musq.[uetier] v.[on] d.[es] H.[errn] Hauptm.[ann] v.[on] {Poenike} Comp.[agnie], mit s[eine]r. Ehefr.[au] Sophia Bernhardtin.

Translation: On August 19th 1805 at 12 noon was born, and baptized on the 25th: Albertine Willhelmine Mengering, daughter of Friedrich Mengering, musketeer under the compagny of the captain Mr. von {Poenike}, and his wife Sophia, née Bernhardt.

--------------

notes: the book is from the military priest of the Prussian Infanterie-Regiment No. 34 "Prinz Ferdinand" which was stationed in 1805 in Neu-Ruppin. So the birth and baptism took place in that city. I'm not sure about the name of the captain, this would need more crosschecking.

The last column of the entry gives 8 Godparents, but this is simply not decipherable.

Thanks, Danny. Are there any online records for the regiment that we could check?

There are two other Marquerings on Wikitree. One is from Germany in the 1800s and the other is a registered member.
Nothing that I know about, but I am not a military expert.

As for the name. I do not say it doesn't exist, it just don't look like. :)

I found this: https://www.archivportal-d.de/item/HNYBUZCPO4KWA6CS5WIYNRV6FWKRWKFN

And I searched for Marquering and got zero hits. A search fro Mengering returned three hits, but unfortunatelyhttps://archiv.sachsen.de/cps/suche.html?q=Mengering, they're from almost three decades later.

I'm having a little trouble trying to figure out how to search for 1805 regiment members.

I finally got some hits on Marquering, but I'm not sure what to make of them. I THOUGHT I would be able to see a llist of people in the regiment, but that doesn't seem to be working out.

Someone named Marquering was the draftsman on a map of Papenburg in 1824. https://www.deutsche-digitale-bibliothek.de/item/PPSGACRHS4RN2WQRXGQ3KVK5VLRLGTNE?lang=de
