New member introducing myself

I've been researching my family lineage here in the US and am confident that I have the correct people in place on my tree.  However, I've reached a dead end on where they came from overseas.  My earliest verifiable direct descendant in the US is Benjamin Willis III, 12 Sep 1725-1785.  He was born in Isle of Wight Co, VA and died in Bladen, NC.  I have found evidence that his father was Benjamin II, born in 1690, but I'm not certain.  Any help in finding out the correct lineage would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to WikiTree, Tracy! It sounds like you have a good beginning on your research and I see you have started your branch of the tree here. If you will continue adding your family until you reach the time frame where you have questions, it will be easier for us to help. Once you add the earlies ancestor that you know is correct with some sources, come back here and ask for help again. There might be others here working on the same line and you will be able to collaborate with them.
