Could Abigail White have been married to the son of Resolve White Senior, since his name was Resolve, as well?

Hi - I suggest adding the Mayflower tag to your post, so the Mayflower project will be sure to see it.

The son and first wife died in 1670, the father after September 1687. The marriage to widow Abigail Lord was in 1674.

Additional support is that William White, the son of Resolved White Sr., on 19 September 1687  William quitclaimed rights and mentioned his father, but not as deceased.

[Edited to add:] You mention a death "soon after landing at Plymouth Rock" in your opening title. That was William White, the father, not either of the Resolved Whites.
