Contributions Not Showing

I'm brand new here and would appreciate some help. I provided two answers to a question at the Genealogy Help forum. Shouldn't those show as two "contributions" under my profile? Thanks!

When you create new profiles or edit already existing profiles, those will show in the contributions totals on your profile. Your G2G activity will accumulate here.

However when you answer a G2G post that has a link to a profile that is being discussed, those often do get listed as a contribution.  Have no explanation how it all works, just my observation from seeing "you answered a question" popping up on my contributions list and presume a point was also added to my total.

No, G2G has its own contribution count.

  • You start with 100 points
  • Every question you ask is 30 points
  • Every question of yours that you select the best answer to is 30 points
  • Every answer is 100 points
  • Every answer of yours that receives best answer is 300 points
  • Every vote up on an answer you give out is 10 points
  • Every vote up you receive is 30 points
