This parish (also called Bumpstead Helions) is at the corner of 3 English counties (Essex, Cambridgeshire, and Suffolk). I'm researching maternal DNA matches (names Bacon, Bubbers, Ruse, Chapman and more). Some emigrated to Australia in the early 1800s. Mary (Bacon) Wright b 1789 is my 3rd gt grandmother - went to London, East End.
