On 3 Jan 2024 Jillaine Smith wrote on Gage-3400: David, I see there's an unmerged match down below suggesting that one of these potential dupes is actually NOT son of Daniel Gage. I'm struck by the fact (although currently unsourced) that this John married in Bristol, Massachusetts, a good 83 miles away and on the opposite side of Boston from Ipswich where Daniel raised his family. Not impossible, but rare for the time. Wondering if you (or someone else reading this) have access to either NEHGS or Ancestry.com for a lookup of the Bristol marriage in 1697. It would be great to resolve this unmerged match. Thanks!
The Freetown location is probably residual from the false identification of Daniel and Martha as the parents of William Montgomery Gage of Freetown:

It seems he has had to be detached from them multiple times
FamilySearch has an image of the record of this marriage in Bradford, Essex:
Daniel Gage & Martha Burbank were married Mar. 9. 1697/8

It seems to me that
Martha Burbank-12 (who is shown marrying Daniel Gage) and her parents Caleb Burbank-13 and Martha Smith-7897, all with good sources,
are duplicated badly in
Martha Mary Burbank-1655 (who is shown marrying Daniel's brother John Gage-3400) and her parents Caleb Burbank-1656 and Martha Smith-283784, without sources.
Also that John Gage-3400 is a duplicate of the other John Gage-1250 and the unmerged match of them should be merged, after detaching John Gage-3400 from Martha.
Then Martha Burbank-1655 and her parents should be merged into Martha Burbank-12 and her parents.
