Hi Wikitreers,

I have a vintage post card in my antique post card collection right out of the 1950’s. It appears to be postage stamped July 28, 1953 however the day is not easily legible. It appears the senders were Ann & Fred.

The recipient was a Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Anderson who lived at Clove Street, La Grangerville, New York. Once again the vintage post cards have no number address.

1.) Is the post card attached to the correct profile? It appears this is the husband and wife but maybe not?

2.) Need a 1950 census showing addy connecting to Andrew Anderson and his wife.

3.) Who were Ann & Fred? Friends? Maybe family ?

4.) is La Grangerville in Dutchess or Poughkeepsie county?

5.) Anyone want to try and transcribe the note on the post card?

Any collaboration is appreciated

Thank you

Spending an enjoyable week here swimming, boating & eating. Sure miss my babes though. Everyone is sociable & we're situated on a beautiful lake. Will? be home Sat afternoon. See you soon.

I wasn’t sure if it was “babes” or lakes once again the era used a different style of conversation. Very neat! Thank you so much laugh

Note: if it was the 28th of July 1953 that was mailed Tuesday. So Saturday was still a few days till coming Home
