Pitts ancestry in tennessee

I'm so lost. I have no idea where either side of my family comes from. I'd like to know more about the Pitts'.

If you have some first names and dates for us, we can help you a bit more.

You can search for people on WikiTree by using Find on the upper right, then select PeopleSearch.  You can type in specific names and perhaps find some help.

Another good (free) place to look is FamilySearch.org.  There is a large database of census, birth/death, immigration and other records.  You just need to input names and locations.  Its easy.

Hi Chelsea,

I'm curious where they came from. My husband has Pitts in his tree. All are from the south. North Carolina to Mississippi.
