How to create Military Categories for Kenya

Question

I am working on Kenya Cemeteries for the cemeterist project. I frequently come across records for those who have served in the following:

Kenya Regiment

East African Mounted Rifles

Kings African Rifles

I feel that these should be available as categories but being new to Wikitree and unsure of how to proceed could someone offer advice on how to proceed so that they are not put in the wrong place?

Profile please? We need more information such as dates of service, so we know which country the person served and if it was during a wartime situation.

The Kenya Regiment was formed in 1936 and disbanded in 1963 after idependence. In WW2 they served in Africa, Madagascar and Burma. They were also involved in the Mau Mau Emergency.

My request was not for any particular person. I have burial records for over 10,000 individuals in Kenya and some in Uganda. I know there are a number who had served in these forces and I would like to categorize then as I enter them in the database.
