Why can't I change the maiden name of Unknown-252525?

I don't know how the "Lydia Unknown" got in there.

You need to be the profile manager or on the trusted list in order to change the Last Name At Birth. If it is a duplicate you can initiate a merge.

Also, your Unknown-252525 seems to have been merged into Houck-227, which is a yellow-locked profile.  Is she still a duplicate?

I don't know how the "Lydia unknown" got in there.  I didn't enter it and I don't think they are related in any way.  My Unknown-252525 is still there.  I have initiated a merger, as suggested by the other person who answered my question.

I didn't go via the 'Lydia Unknown' link.  I typed Unknown-252525 into a search box and it redirected to Lydia (Houck) Kinsey, Houck-227.

I think E meant Unknown-252505 rather than Unknown-252525.

How strange! I just typed Unknown-252505 into a search box and also got Houck-227.  But, go to Halbert-716 and look at his daughter Elizabeth (Unknown) Hill.  It says she is Unknown-252505!
