A profile has disappeared without a trace. Can we find Mathilde Winker (1881-1968)?

This is quite odd. Sometime in the last six or eight months I had created a profile for Austrian artist Mathilde Winker (1881-1968) who went to the US and also died there. I cannot find her through a name search, she's not on my watchlist (I may have orphaned after creation), and there is no way of which I am aware to search my Contributions list to attempt to find her that way. The only thing I can think of is that someone has merged the profile away (incorrectly). How can the profile be found?

Hey Cousin T, This may be a long shot, and I might be totally off course, but this sort of happened to me.  What if the profile was merged into another profile because they were the same person, but they had similar but different names.  Example: My name is David Earl Draper, but what if it was profiled as Earl Dave Draper, then merged. Just a thought.

Try a Google search:  Wikitree (Name and dates) see what happens

Thanks, David, that returned the two G2G questions. Perhaps I never made the profile but I have distinct recollection of uploading an image of one of her works...at least I think I do.

She doesn't appear on the list of profiles WikiTree Plus says you created in 2023 or in 2024.

Thanks, Andrew. In that case maybe I never actually created the profile after making all the notes to do so.
