Advice before editing this pre-1700 Wheelock profile?

I created a profile for Mehitible Wheelock, wife of Benoni Partridge based on three references:

* Massachusetts, U.S., Compiled Birth, Marriage, and Death Records, 1700-1850, images of record by Ancestry.com
* "Compendium of American Genealogy, Vol. 4," ed. by Frederick Adams Virkus, p. 535
* "John Partridge and his Descendants" pg. 55 from the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Vol. 57, 1903.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

The profile you created is a duplicate of Wheelock-80.  Son Eli is also duplicated.  I have proposed a merge for Eli, but you have an open draft so the merge cannot be proposed with Wheelock-80.

You added your Eli profile to his father, who already had Wheelock-80 linked to him, as well as a son Eli.
