If I find that I have entered family members and someone else has the same family members - how do we merge?

Hello,

I have been doing reseach for my family tree.  I have started my profile and added family members.  I notice that another person also has information about our mutual great grandfather.  Wouldn't it be useful to have that info merged or my info merged? My name is Peggy Hise Foley, my father is Paul Berlie Hise and his father is John Paul Hise - the mutual great grandfather is Emanuel Hise.  The manager of his profise is Ann Hise - I emailed her but have not gotten a response.  I have additional info that I could add about the relatives she has listed and I am sure she has info about some of mine.  I am new to this and to this site - how do we keep from duplicating information.  Thank you  - Peggy Hise Foley - HISE 168

If you have info to add to an existing profile you may contact the profile manager first & inform them that you have info to add...or if the profile has an open privacy level you may add the new info along with the appropriate sources & an explanation regarding the new info.
