How should I categorize people who died in the Great Cholera Epidemic of 1837 in Alia, Sicilia?

Hundreds of people died in Alia, Sicilia in 1837 during the Great Cholera Epidemic. I already have some of these profiles in the Category: Alia, Sicilia, but I also want to add a category to collect the names of those who died of cholera in 1837 in Sicilia because there were hundreds and it really changed this little town. About half of the former surnames disappeared as whole families were wiped out, and small families lost there only members. What is a good category for these folks. BTW , there is a special study being done on the DNA of these people by a university.
