Florence Westbrook Haslinger born 9/8/1889-died 7/12/1974
Florence Westbrook lost her parents in a car accident about 1899 or before she married 1908. Not sure if in England or in Brooklyn, Kings County. NYC. Was told that she went to live with her aunts in the area of Cobble Hill, Kings County, Brooklyn, NY. I found a immigration passenger list from August. 1899 where her name is listed as Florence Westbrook age 10 along with Laura Westbrook age 36, married but no husband traveling. I believe either the accident happened in England and she was orphaned and her aunt Laura brought her to the US or Laura is her mother and traveled with her daughter to join the father in the U.S. and the accident happened after that. I cannot find anymore information.
