Parents of Alice Spencer (born January 1896 in Chipping Sodbury, England)

Question

This Alice Spencer is the mother of Clarice May, as well as the wife of John May. However, I found another Alice Spencer record showing her birth in Doynton, Gloucestershire (near Chipping Sodbury) in the same birth year (but received baptism in February), with her parents listed as Guy Spencer and Thirza Hall.

I'm not quite sure if those records are of the same Alice Spencer. Feel free to give me feedback!

Alice Spencer from your earlier question & comment was born in January 1896, the birth being entered in Chipping Sodbury registration district. That area includes the parish of Doynton.  Christenings very often were months later following the birth, with Alice's on 19 February 1896, the daughter of Guy Spencer & Thurza. (1896.https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NBB7-F4C). Indeed Guy Spencer married Thirza Hall in 1887. (Chipping Sodbury 6a/369 q December 1887).
