Hello, I am trying to find a connection between Levi Rowley and his children Delight (Rowley) Woodworth, John and Cornelius Rowley for my Mayflower certificate.

Mayflower line: Edward Fuller, Mathew Fuller, Elizabeth Fuller m Moses Rowley 1, Moses Rowley 11, m Mary, Johnathan Rowley m Anna Fuller, Levi Rowley m Elizabeth. They had 4 children Delight, Elizabeth, John & Cornelius Rowley.

Please can any one tell me another place to search or maybe you have a document.

Thank you

Dear Nancy,

The National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has Ephraim Woodworth as patriot #A130110.  His wife is given in the files as Delight RAWLEY.

This URL should take you to Ephraim's file:  http://services.dar.org/Public/DAR_Research/search_adb/?action=full&p_id=A130110

It may be that further information is available through the DAR.  Certain files can be purchased from them. This is to facilitate membership applications.  Perhaps you or a friend can research in their Washington, D.C. library.

   Good luck!  -NGP
Hello Nanette,

Thank you for your information. Ephraim Woodworth Jr. and Captain Ephraim Woodworth  Sr. are my DAR patriots. Delight's father is not mentioned here, or any place that I have looked.

Thanks again.

Nancy

For the people you ask I can give you many web addresses to look at to help you on your research. I personally don't have much on these individuals but you may be successful at these websites.  I wish you much luck on your search.

My source on Delight mentions Woodworth, William Atwater. "Descendants of Walter Woodworth of Scituate, Mass." White Plains NY: 1898, pg 110. I probably saw it at Library of Congress or the DAR Library in Washington DC. Sometimes the LOC surprises you and your local library can borrow it.

Unfortunately, Spencer's Rowley Researcher says that while Levi had at least 3 definite children, they were Elizabeth, David, and Benjamin. Three other children, he says, were highly probable: Delight, John and Cornelius. And he added that there may be others.

I also have the following references for Levi:
