Are John H Schamp and John H Schamp the same person?

I have been working with Bruce Schamp to determine if his family of Schamps that came from New Jersey are the same Schamps that my family descends from that came from New Jersey. We have traced his line back to John H Schamp (Schamp-112). My tree includes a John H Schamp (Schamp-15). John (112) was born about 15 Jan 1796 based on the age listed on his gravestone which listed his death as 9 Mar 1861. He is buried in Warren County, NJ. He shows up on census records in 1840, 1850, and 1860 in Warren and Morris Counties in New Jersey with his wife and children. John (15) per other genealogies is listed as being born circa 1803 in Readington Twp (which is in Hunterdon County - adjacent to Warren and Morris Counties) and dying after 1858. The dates would be plausible to suggest a match. I cannot find much more to help support or to refute them being the same person, but am also hesitant to just jump to that conclusion without a bit more to make it more than plausible.

Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Ron

That belongs to #112. I am wondering if he is the same guy that is in my tree being born to Henry G and Margaret Schamp of Hunterdon County. I don't have information that puts #112 in that county or belonging to those parents.
Subtracting 65 year, approx. age at death in 1861, estimated birth year would be 1796. That coincides with the birth year of John Schamp in    https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/2:2:SB6F-P3T . Parents there, are Hendrick George Schamp and Margaret Shurts/Schertz. The couple are shown with a fair number of children, including another John Schamp who was born in 1803.

Generally, Pedigree resource files like this are not checked for accuracy by familysearch.org , so may need validation.
Unfortunately that is one of my only sources. It would be awesome to come across another document that would support the link. When looking at the final resting places of My John H's parents and where this John H is resting, the towns are only 17.67 miles apart (as the crow flies). This makes it certainly more plausible.
