Looking for parents or siblings of Alec Collins B1839 Que, d1898 N.B.

My gr grandfather listed his father's place of birth as Ontario, his mother as Quebec. He was born in Quebec, possible Riviere St. Charles. He married and lived in Gloucester New Brunswick from 1866 to 1898. He married Sara Landry in Caraquet, N.B.

 The following has been proven incorrect.  Alexandre Collins son of Louis Collins from Quebec City, married twice, once in 1863 and again in 1868 in Quebec City Quebec. It is possible he is from the same family tree, but a different branch.  This family line goes back to Tipparary Ireland. New Bandon----Sarah - age 34; Alexandre Collins - age 13 - Joseph Collins - age 12; - Julie Collins - age 9;  Sophie Collins - age 7;  Marie Collins - age 6; Virginie Collins -age 3;  Elizabeth Collins - age 9/12 months.

Virginie Collin- b. 1879 Married Jeremie Godin 4 June 1939 New Bondon, Gloucester, NB. male age 58. b. 1881 --Virginie Collin - age 60 b. 1879. His parents Joseph Michel Godin & Marie Theriault.

Alex Collen - died 9 May 1898 Grande Anse, Gloucester, NB. Male age 59 Birth year - 1839 Cemetery - Saint Simon et Saint Jude

 

This is all I could find but I am going to go back to search for the 1851 and the 1861 Census of Canada. I thought his father was Richard E. Collin but I am not sure on that. but I will give another try. Let me know if I am on the right track so to speak.

Thanks, this is him, but I have this information, what I need are the names of his parents. New Brunswick didn't require parents names on marriage records so I have no idea who they were. The only thing I know is his mother was born in Quebec and father in Ontario, and that;s from census records. A genealogist from Ancestry did a search for a nephew, but made the incorrect connection to a Louis Collins in Quebec City. That Alexandre married twice, second time a year after my gr grandparents were married in N.B. The closest I came was a Collins family from Black Rock Ontario, there were similar family names, but couldn't make connection.  Haven't come across a Richard Collins. Where was he born? My gr aunt Virginie Collins Godbout Godin listed her fathers place of birth as Riviere St Charles. Que.but again, no connection.
