On Family Treem tested Brother for ydna, and my highest match is:Nason 01/14/2014 2nd Cousin - 4th Cousin 78 43

I have tried to join the Family Tree DNA group, but have not been able to , but my highest match on Family Finder is a Nason.  I wanted to know more about the Nasons.. of New England..ie New Hampshire or in that vacinity.  The match I have is at what I entered above. cMorgans 78, and longest block 43.  Any info re. Nasons, would be most helpful. My furthest ancestor John A. Tuscan b. abt 1787, in Mass. or NH.  died 1862 in Bingham, Me. where he lived.  Was in the Athens, Me. census of 1810 , and it's where he married Nancy Merrow there before the moved to Bingham, Me.  PLease contact me at my email. It sounds like you have Family Finder (autosomal DNA) results.  Do you have an ancestor with the Nason surname?  Most of the surnames your 2nd to 4th cousin has will not be in your ancestry.  If you have Nason ancestry then it will usually be much easier to learn about your Nason ancestry by having a male relative with the Nason surname take a Y-DNA37 test.
