What is the strangest first name or middle name you have found in your family?

My ancestress' sister was called Catherine CANTON Davies because she was born on board the Canton as they were docked in Sydney Harbour, 1835.

Mahershal Hashbaugh McKinstry -- always wondered until I found a reference in the book Albion Seed -- Mahershalalahashbaugh (sp?) was the longest name in the bible.   His third wife, my 2x greatgrandmother, had her own special name -- Ohio Rosetta Cohee.  She had a sister named Mary Indiana.....

I have a couple of favorite names. My great grandmother was Bethalona Aglentine Stone and her mother was Dulcena Appeline Murphy. No idea where they came from.

Then there's a great grand father. Had trouble finding his marriage record; name was Elisha Strutton. Found the record under Elisha Struting.

But the strangest is probably one I was working on yesterday. A distant connection named Looney Carson Shelton. Yes, that's the name on the 1900 census and on his death certificate.

FINITE a female ancestor was her first name not sure if it was a spelling mistake but every document i have found has this spelling.

The strangest first name I've found so far is that of my paternal 5ggrandfather - STRANGEMAN Hutchins.
