Looking for information about Winifred Mauer/Maurer 1895-1986.

Question

Winifred Maurer was born in Hamilton County, Ohio 27 Jun 1895.  Someone on Ancestry.com said her parents might be George J Maurer 1860-  and Margaret Roddy 1862-1950.  I can not confirm this.  Winifred married Charles William Carroll born Dec 1898 in Green Township, Hamilton Co, Ohio.  He grew up there and in Cherokee County, KS.  He worked for a mining company in Picher and was sent to Peru to help the mines there.  He developed tuberculosis and was in sanitariums in Cincinnati and Arizona.  After they married in Cincinnati they took a trip to Chapman KS to meet his relatives and then went on to Denver where they lived the rest of their lives.  Charles died young, about 46 years.  Winifred lived until her 80s.  My mother-in-law said that she had a publicity and marketing business that was very successful ( not confirmed).  Does anyone know this Winifred Maurer Carroll?  I can't even find where she was buried in Denver and it's too expensive to get her death certificate.  PLease help.  Thanks.

This Charles William Carroll was born in Dec. 1898 to George T and Johanna Powell Carroll.  Locations and dates look correct.  In 1930 he was still living with George. The 1940 census with Winifred says in 1935 he lived in CO and Winifred in OH.  Possibly they married between those dates?

Thank you so much for the information.  I should have looked in the census myself.  I'm going person to person in my writing.  Going backward than most people by starting by Thomas Clarence Carroll, then his kids.  I don't plan to go any further than listing his grandkids.  Might change my mind later.

I purchased the marriage license for a Charles Carrol and Winnifred Maurer at an estate sale in
