I thought I was creating a profile for my grandmothers father but had in fact created one for her father.

So I thought I would go ahead and create a profile of the same but as her grandfather as it was intended to be and merge the two. That didn't work. Help!  Referencing Wankel-11 and Wankel-12. Simply put my greatgrandfather is now listed as my grandfather.

You need to go into those profiles and do an Edit (press the Edit tab) and then replace the fathers.  If I understand, you also merged greatgrandfather into grandfather ... or some such ... you'll have to re-create one of those profiles ...
Thank you! That worked perfectly.
Hi Eileen,

Joined a week ago, please permit me to supply my first answer ever given. I hope it right one. Noticed while scanning "Unanswered" your Question appears.  Believe Bob answered as comment. Think he re-submits  as answer, Then you could award him  a Gold Star, if you wanted. However remember  advice comming from Newbie,

I just read my question and had to laugh at the first sentence. Grandmother's father and her father being one in the same. I'm sure there were a few scratching their head over this.  ; )
