WikiTree Quattlebaum-124
I joined WikiTree in March 2016 as a place to house my family research where others could find it… FREE. I first put basic information on my direct line and was able to connect to my gg grandmother Elizabeth Quattlebaum [Quattlebaum-226] I have since added sources to her profile and added her children.
I noticed immediately that the George Washington Quattlebaum profile was a “hot mess” and largely unsourced. There are children and wives that I believe I can prove are incorrect. I put the sources and information that I had on the profile and information that I thought would make good beginnings of areas where collaboration was needed. I think I also contacted the Profile Managers and posted a note that we needed to work on the Quattlebaum profiles. I just recently got a reply from Swartz-1117 (Thanks for the input Cynthia) and looked at the profiles again. I decided I need to be a lot more detailed in what I am requesting. We can probably use some WikiTree staff assistance if possible
I am willing to share what I have found so that we can evaluate and make a decision if there are sources, or an educated guess with research plan for things we can’t source right now. Is anyone interested? If not, I have lots still to do before I reach the point of taking it on by myself.

Spouses of George Quattlebaum [Quattlebaum-124]: Mary Shealy [Shealy-278); Sarah Faralise Grimsley [Grimsley-77]; Elizabeth Prince [Prince-1328]. I have found no sources that indicated he was married to Elizabeth or was the father of her son James Prince.
Children of George Quattlebaum especially linking them to the correct mother. Also I doubt that James Quattlebaum [Quattlebaum-224] was is son unless he was illegitimate. All records I have found give his name as James Prince. Also, I have found no sources for a daughter Rachel. [Quattlebaum-223]
Parents of George Quattlebaum: There are a lot of duplicates and spelling variations in Profiles for these.
