is there such a place as Franklin, Pendleton Virginia?

An ancestor of mine was supposed to have been born in Franklin, Pendleton, Virginia. Her name was Tarsha Lucy Diressa. She was born about 1805. There are no birth records to be found and none of her inf shows her parents. She married Robert Large about 1822. How can I find out? They died in Lawrence co kentucky

There is a Franklin, Pendleton County, West Virginia

Prior to the civil war Franklin, Pendleton County, West Virginia was actually Franklin, Pendleton County, Virginia because West Virginia was split from Virginia so that Virginia could be a slave state and west Virginia could be a free state.
