Ancestry of William King

Question

I am looking for some assistance to trace ancestry associated with the "King" family.  I've hit a brick wall. My fourth generation ancestor was William King. He was born in Pennsylvania on February 18, 1818. I have not be able to determine where in Pennsylvania. According to an 1880 US Census, his father and mother were born in Pennsylvania. William married Susannah Gale in Mercer County, Ohio in 1855. William could have been married before marrying her. He then married Louisa Cottrell on March 1, 1863 in Mercer County, Ohio. She was born in Ohio in 1846. William died July 9, 1884 in Mercer County, Ohio. I'm not sure how long William stayed in Pennsylvania before moving to Ohio. Any assistance on William King's ancestry will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your help. I have already been down this path in Family Search. I have gone fairly deep in the results, but have only got guesses. I cannot find a link between William and any of his ancestors. I have not found any evidence that he had brothers or sisters. I have not been able to determine if he had another wife prior to Susannah in  1855. At least half of his life took place in Ohio in the Mercer County area.

Any other advice would be appreciated.
