Can't edit/correct the maiden name of a woman born in 1724

Question

I'm trying to change the maiden name for  Elliott-4325     Her maiden name is Faulkner  (the bio and her parents' name provide sources for the name of Faulkner),  but the profile was created using the surname of her first husband,  Elliott.     Unfortunately,  I don't see the "edit button" by her maiden name on the  edit page.   The profile has the  "open" security level because she was born over 200 years ago.   Shouldn't I be able to edit this.  (I haven't asked to be put on the "Trusted List" because I was hoping to understand why the profile wasn't  "open".)

It is my understanding that only a profile manager is able to edit the last name at birth.

Thanks Peter....... now that you mention it,  I only remember seeing the "edit button"  on profiles I created.

That's true, Peter ... Peggy should probably start with a note on Mary Neville's profile page about what needs to be done.  The profile manager hasn't been overly active (July were her last edits) but it may be a summer thing ... if that fails then Peggy will need to go the 'unresponsive manager' route.
