Mary died abt 1859 in Henry, AL.  Clark died sometime, we believe, during the Civil War ABT 1864 in Richmond, VA.  They left behind a daughter, Mary Ann Faulk (my gg-grandmother) who was then raised by her Grandmother, Elizabeth Oliff Stanford. Having trouble finding any documentation regarding the deaths of Martha and Clark.

Part of the reason I am so curious is that I noticed, while researching Elizabeth Olliff Standford that several people in her family (adult children) died within a very short time-frame and she was caring for several of her grandchildren.

(Sorry for such a long-winded question, trying to give as much info as possible)  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry.  I guess I wasn't clear. :(  My fault. I apologize. I have the information regarding the marriage of Martha and Clark and on Martha's family.  Their daughter is my gg-grandmother.  What I cannot find is when Martha died, or how, where she is buried, etc.  The information about Clark being in the military I also have. The site of his burial cannot be found either, owing I guess to the multitudes of soldiers who died in the Richmond campaign.  So sorry for the mix-up.  Some times I forget the KISS rule.  :(  Thank you sooo much for your help.  I do appreciate it very much.

No problem.

Faulk, Pvt Clark J. died Oct. 27, 1864, buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Richmond City, Virginia.

He was at   findagrave  . You can read more and see photos at this address:

If Martha is buried in Henry County, AL, check this information out:

There is the Enterprise Public Library in Enterprise, AL phore 334-347-2636

Family History Center Dothan, Dale/Houston/Henry/Geneva, Alabama. Phone is 334-793-7425.

OMG!! I have belonged to Findagrave for quite some time!!!  Haven't been on in some months, he was not there then!  I also didn't put "Pvt" in his name.  :(  Thank you so much for that. It should read Eufala tho, not Enfala.  Oh well, just happy, happy to see it on Findagrave. AYYAYAYAYA :)  Going to add him to my virtual cemeteries.  I will also have a look see for the burials in Henry County, thank you for that link also! You are a jewel. :)
I had also created a memorial for him on Findagrave, with a copy of a portion of war records pertaining to his service.  But the one you found has much more info militarily than I had.  Sorry, just thrilled to find it. :)

Thanks for taking the time to reply Frank Gill, ID: Gill-1291, I have the info on his regiment, etc.. Have never been able to make sure that is HIM.  There was another Clark Faulk in the military at the same time.  I am glad to see that I am on the right track.  No burial site tho, mainly because so many were buried and not properly identified or identified at all.  :)  Thank you very much!  Do you know anything about Martha????

I did not find Martha's death information. Maybe someone with other resources at WikiTree will be able to find it.
Frank, I have wondered if she died giving birth.  No mention of any other babies anywhere, so not sure.  Just something that crossed my mind.  Thank you for trying!
I thought of that possibility too. It would be good to get that sorted out if possible.
I agree, Frank!  I will keep looking.something has got to be out there somewhere.
