Does anyone have correct death date for Blower 14, Thomas Blower?

Question

The birth and death dates for the Blower Family, although well sourced, can not be correct. Thomas Blower died 27 Feb 1581 yet he married Susannah Vincent 27 Feb 1582. The children were born: Thomas 23 Apr 1587, Caleb Abt1588; and Alice 2 Jan 1589, all after Thomas Blower's death. Have you been able to locate sources that support a later death date.

There is a source on the profile from Geni that shows Thomas Blower, born ca 1545 in Lavenham, Suffolk, England. Died 29Sep1597. Could that be the correct date of death, lines up with marriage and birth of children

A new comment in his profile gives a reliable source that Thomas was buried on 01 October 1597.  So the 29 September 1597 death date (two days earlier) looks very likely to be correct.

The most likely explanation is that Thomas's marriage date has been accidentally copied into his death date at some point in the past. The 1581 v 1582 anomaly is probably because the year started on Lady Day (25 March). Contemporary records would refer to the date as 1581 but we would now regard it as 1582. I found three references to the marriage (Su Vincent, Susan Vincent, and Susan Vyncent) on FindMyPast but no birth or death dates. There is also a marriage between a Thomas Blower and an Alice Sparpoint (Spearpoint?) dated 1574 just five miles away in Long Melford. Could just be a coincidence or possibly an earlier marriage to a wife who died?
