any way to not have repetitive e-mails about the same g2g things?

I just got a whole bunch of notifications at one go, all about Saturday sourcing sprints, all for different dates and people answering.  Is there some way to handle this please?  Saturday sprints are only supposed to be for that day, not carry on for a few months on the same thread.  One of them was dated from April originally.  Somebody is adding comments to them.  Can somebody close these when the time is past?

Also, my G2G feed when I look at it does a similar thing, any time somebody commented on something it shows up in the feed as a separate item.  Could only most recent show up in that feed?  Then if there is an interest one can go there and view the whole thing.

You'll have to adjust your tags to eliminate subjects you don't want to include in your feed.

However, if you've replied to a thread, and that's why you're continuing to get notifications, you can go back to your reply, edit it, and deselect the checkbox that says "Email me ... "

Hope this helps some!

sorry, you are not getting the point.  Take a look at this:

http://prntscr.com/fo2ehh

It is simply ridiculous that such old threads are still getting used.  And it's not like i don't want notices, but really this is a bit outrageous.
There's no technical way to prevent that, Danielle.

It looks like another member was going along congratulating people on their participation.
I had tagged the sourcerers in my original question, got removed for some reason, these things minimally should be getting closed, would reduce the number of responses way past their bedtime.  ;)
I put it back ... hopefully, this was an isolated instance. Still, if you contact ... hmmm ... Liz?? ... you can ask her to close the threads. Like you said, that might help.
