Can anyone decipher the cause of death for Mary Jane McQuinn?

The record I am trying to read is here. Mary Jane is in the middle column at the top right quadrant.

I haven't made a profile for this woman yet but am working on who I believe is her daughter, also named Mary Jane McQuinn. The daughter was born on May 12. The person I think is her mother died on May 18. If I could read the cause of death it might be another piece of evidence that the two are related (I'm 90 percent sure).

Hello!

At first I thought the first letter was an A, but seeing how he did other A's I ruled that out, then I realized in was an M, and looking at old terminology for illnesses, I have a good inkling that it is, Metritis, or inflammation of the uterus, per this website.

I am not 100%, but it seems pretty close. Good luck!

I think your right. I thought it was a 'A' as well, but decided it was really an M, there is a doctor Moore on the previous page and the M looks just like the first letter in her cause of death.
Although he varies in his M's like when he wrote her name, strange.
Thank you!!! That fits since I'm certain it was related to childbirth. I'm going to get her profile up soon, thanks so much everyone for the help!
